ICMA proudly presents Tribute to Kishoritai Amonkar, a special evening of Hindustani classical vocal music by Dr. Radhika Joshi, accompanied by Rigved Deshpande on tabla and Vijay Ghaskadvi on harmonium.
A Singapore-raised artist with a doctorate in Economics, Radhika made the bold transition to pursue Indian classical music full time in India. She is a disciple of Pt. Raghunandan Panshikar, carrying forward the rich legacy of the Jaipur-Atrauli gharana, and now brings her artistry to the United States on her debut tour. Presented as part of ICMA’s Young Masters Series, this intimate chamber concert in the serene Saratoga Hills offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the depth, nuance, and emotive power of this tradition in a close, immersive setting.
The concert is free, but RSVP is required. Seats are limited and we encourage you to RSVP below at the earliest to avoid disappointment!
