Jagala Prem Arpave
Vision
Our vision with Jagala Prem Arpave is to bring joy, connection, and comfort through music as an act of seva (selfless service), especially to those who cannot come to the music themselves.
Rooted in the timeless teaching “Khara To Ekachi Dharma – Jagala Prem Arpave” — “the one true faith is to offer love to the world” — this initiative aspires to carry forward the compassion and community spirit championed by the Indian Classical Music and Arts (ICMA) Foundation.
Guided by the values of seva (service), accessibility, and compassion, the initiative brings artists and audiences together in live musical performances where music can provide comfort, joy, and a sense of community. In doing so, Jagala Prem Arpave extends ICMA Foundation’s broader mission – “to preserve, nurture and celebrate Indian classical music”. Every live concert under this program is meticulously planned to share a "slice of authentic Indian cultural heritage" with those who need it most, ensuring that the heritage lives on and touches lives beyond the usual concert halls.
Mission
The Jagala Prem Arpave initiative aims to:

Mission
The Jagala Prem Arpave initiative aims to:
- Bring live music performances – including classical, devotional, and semi-classical renditions – directly to elder care homes, hospitals, orphanages, and similar care spaces where individuals may be unable to travel, yet deeply cherish the joy of shared cultural experiences.
- Engage select students and volunteers from the Mahesh Kale School of Music (MKSM) in meaningful musical seva, fostering empathy, humility, and intergenerational bonds through service rooted in art.
- Fulfills ICMA Foundation’s mission to preserve, nurture, and celebrate Indian classical music by ensuring it reaches every heart – regardless of age, ability, or physical limitations – thus using music as a medium of love, connection, and care.
